EFBA, French Education in the Bay Area, is a non-profit organization, not affiliated with any political party or religious faith. EFBA was created in order to offer French language education to French speaking and non-French speaking children in the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano and Sonoma counties), not already enrolled in private French schools.

Our goal is to be self-sufficient, with minimal operating expenses. Our organization is run for the most part by a group of parent volunteers. A good portion of our operating expenses are covered by grants from the French government and other entities (e.g. FLAM, free classrooms from local schools).
