A day in the life of a Counselor-in-Training

Program Schedule and Hours

The program operates Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM (excluding holidays) in our Mountain View camp, with an optional extended schedule until 6:00 PM for those interested in gaining additional experience by assisting with aftercare activities.

Starting Your CIT Journey

On their first day as a Counselor-in-Training, participants will meet with a member of the EFBA team to discuss their tasks, interests, and goals. This personalized introduction ensures that each CIT’s experience is tailored to their strengths and aspirations. By aligning responsibilities with their preferences, CITs can maximize their learning, build confidence, and enjoy their time at camp.
