IN-PERSON FRENCH CULTURAL PROGRAMS

Throughout the school year, EFBA organizes a variety of different French cultural programs for children to learn through play. Immersion in the French language allows children to have fun, dream, and discover, all while in the process of learning.

In addition to reinforcing their language capabilities, these cultural programs stimulate their interest in the French language. They are ideal complementary activities for children who learn French at school or home. The idea that play provides incredible leverage in learning a language is a core part of our mission.

Museum Quest

Several times a year, EFBA presents Museum Quest, an engaging, play-based program that invites children to explore science, art, and history through interactive experiences at museums and cultural sites. This unique program fosters cultural discovery and curiosity in a hands-on, immersive way.

In-person Little Symphony

Several times a year, EFBA hosts Little Symphony, a cultural outing program designed for children from Francophone and Francophile families to enjoy enriching field trips in French at cultural venues across the Bay Area. Children attend a variety of musical performances, from jazz and symphonies to opera and beyond, while immersing themselves in music and culture.

In-person STEM-Venturers

Our STEM-Venturers program offers engaging in-person activities in French focused on science, technology, engineering, and math. Our mission: to spark curiosity in children and teens and perhaps inspire the next generation of STEM professionals through fun, unique, and high-quality experiences.

ONLINE CULTURAL PROGRAMS

Our online cultural activities in French are a great opportunity for students to immerse themselves in French learning and culture, practice French while having fun, and meet new friends!

Third Culture Kids

Third Culture Kids introduces children to the practice of cultural appreciation and intercultural understanding. Through fun immersive online activities children will explore other cultures while making connections to their own experiences.

Online Little Symphony

Little Symphony offers exciting adventures in French that introduce children to different types of music, as well as core musical concepts. Each event takes a deep dive into a cultural element for an engaging imaginative experience.

Escape Game

EFBA’s escape games offers a unique experience that allows participants to develop their logical competencies and their analytical reasoning through puzzles and cultural games, while immersing them into exalting imaginative fun!

Supervised Minecraft Game Time

For two hours, every first Sunday of the month, we create the conditions for participants aged 7 to 12 to develop their logical and relationship-building skills in a fun, secure, Francophone environment.
