Do you have to have the DELF A1 in order to take the DELF A2?
Is there a break for lunch between the written exam in the morning, and the oral exam in the afternoon?
Usually, we organize a break in the session of about half an hour between the written test, and the oral exam.
What is the difference between the TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) and the DELF?
As stated in its name, the DELF is a diploma. So, it is valid for life. The TCF, however, is a test given at a certain time, and is only valid for two years.
Is the DELF recognized in Canadian universities?
It depends. Some universities, like McGill or University of Ottawa, for instance, recognize the DELF as an official diploma in French studies. We recommend that you contact the university you are targeting to know if they take this diploma in consideration.
