FRENCH FOR FRANCOPHONES (NATIVE FRENCH SPEAKERS)

Our French classes are built on play-based, appealing and varied activities. The teachers’ main motivation is to make children want to learn to read, write and speak French. Immersion in the French language is essential for us: reading and conversations are entirely in French.

EFBA strives to offer an enriching cultural program covering the Francophone world through texts, songs, games, art and cooking, giving children a chance to acquire a rich and diverse knowledge of French-speaking countries. The materials we use in our classes are the “Virgule” books, FLAM (French as a Native Language) workbooks that our experts have developed within the organization and that we share as an open source with hundreds of organizations around the world.

We offer different courses based on age and language level :

  • Petits Francophones for children ages 5 and 6 (K-1st grade)
  • Moyens Francophones for children ages 7 and 8 (2nd-3rd grades)
  • Grands Francophones for ages 9 and 10 (4th and 5th grades)
  • Collège Francophone for pre-teens and teenagers (middle school).
