Welcome to Online French Summer Classes!

Summer is a time to relax, learn life skills, bond with your family, and make friends through exciting adventures. But sometimes, children are sad that school is out. They don’t miss the grades; they miss the learning! They are self-motivated and eager to explore new fields of knowledge.

EFBA is bringing the best of intellectual curiosity and imagination in a playful format for those who want to always continue learning. Welcome to our Online French Summer Classes!

French Through Cooking

What? Students will discover the rich cultures of the Francophonie through gastronomy, learn to prepare simple and delicious dishes, and fight against junk food and a culture of instant gratification. In addition, this course will help children discover that cooking is a perfect combination of math, chemistry, and creativity! Hands-on lessons will engage students’ reading, listening, speaking and writing skills.

Sample activities are adjusted to suit students’ interests and abilities, and may include following a recipe to cook a simple traditional French dish, building a meal plan, tracing the origins of specific ingredients, presenting the gastronomical history of a certain region.

A shopping list of ingredients and necessary materials will be provided by the teacher in advance.
