BAY AREA FRENCH CLASSES
French classes at EFBA provide an accredited pathway for children and teens to learn French in a supportive environment. Our unique approach integrates play-based and project-based learning within a comprehensive 12-year curriculum, where internationally recognized DELF exams serve as independent benchmarks of progress throughout our French classes. This is further complemented by our immersive summer camps led by counselors directly from France, as well as our Cultural Programs.
Whether joining our French classes online or participating in our in-person programs, we make learning French an inspiring adventure through our various French classes and cultural offerings.
EFBA is a unique nonprofit French school dedicated to fostering bilingualism in children aged 5 to 18. Recognizing French as a valuable minority language in the San Francisco Bay Area, we’ve developed a distinctive part-time school model comprised of three interconnected programs designed to provide consistent and engaging exposure to French year-round. These include online French classes, afterschool French classes across the Bay Area, and enriching summer camps, all complemented by immersive cultural outings (both in-person and online). While each program offers a distinct experience, they collectively form our unique EFBA part-time school model, ensuring a continuous learning journey that caters to all ages and levels. The common goal across all these components is to inspire a love for the French language through playful, age-apprinopriate methods. Within this model, children will learn French naturally and become bilingual and bicultural.– often without even realizing they’re learning!
